I have designed and developed an Access 2007 Database with VBA that allows a client to import bank transaction details to reconcile against internal transaction details (currently only deposits). During the import of the data the system cleans the data and updates descriptions based on a preconfigured list in another table. The system automatically matches up deposits that match that are within 5 days of each other. The other unmatched deposits are then manually reconciled by the user.

The client wants to be able to reconcile cashless transactions now (debit/credit cards). There are over 3,000 cashless transactions per day for this client. In order to implement this number of transactions we feel the need to move to SQL Server and would prefer SQL Server 2008.

I have some experience with SQL Server 2005, but don't really have the time to do everything with this project. In part of the process of moving the database to SQL Server 2008 I would also like a custom front end application

pm for more details about the project
