Are you guys just interested in the anime and music?

Or into the language a bit, habits, culture etc?

I'm liking the whole package! I like the language, and slowly been trying to learn a bit from animes/songs etc. But still I sux at the language
I like the culture, how they respect their elders and pretty much everyone. Unlike in Europe.
I certainly like anime and manga they do. Some music as well!

I've been trying to read on them slowly. And kind of wanting to take lessons on learning the actual language. But havnt had time/money/courage yet.

This one time I was on a cruise ship (this year anyway). There was some japanese group also. I was in a hurry and accidently collided with one of them, an elderly lady. I said "sumimasem" and bowed my head down. Then the lady said something and looked really surprized! And I kept on walking on.

Any way I'm destined to visit the country some day!

Cool, Japan is a facinating country indeed. I'm also planning to visit japan but i'm not sure when because i'd probably stay there for a couple of weeks and explore Japan as much as i can while im there so i need to take a long time off..

But yeah, i'd probably come back with lots of stuff :)

It doesn't matter how hard you've studied; the material won't be on the exam anyway.

Now at work I get alot of spare time. Most of that time I spend my watching Stargate SG1 series. But at times I try to memorize single japanese letters.

I used to remember more than now, but there was like 6 months break so I forgot most.
Now that I started again its a bit easier since I remember a bit.

This first started from watching animes of course Slowly learning the language. Well at least the spoken one (no clue about the letters).
The more I watched the more I liked it. Then I started watching real japanese shows. Like Bloody Monday. Its about a japanese hacker schoolboy. Whos trying to somehow save Japan from terrorists. I cant remember it too well. But it was awesome.
I've seen many series like this and liked most of them.

Then I kept liking them more and more. Until I kind of know what theyr habits are. Like respect elders, whats usually important (like getting to schools, getting a job, getting married).
Now that I actually got a job. I'll see if I get any time to actually start studying the language. I think it will have to go to January though. Since then a new school perioid begins here, and all the courses start from beginning.

And if I manage to save up money I'm hoping to visit the country this or next summer. Probably not this summer though. Got lots stuffs to spend money on

I do have some kind of a "dream" of moving there, getting a job and a girl! But life will tell what happens
