Ok this would be little challenge, so who wants to be part of this challenge post code here. There is no right solution only better, you cant failure.

Problem is here: make countdown from 1 minute in Swing frame, so it shows also the timer. When it hits 0 then it starts some action, show messagebox, another frame or something else.

Should be easy task, if you want to use others people code then give credits to them. I will post my solution at the end of day. I hope so  027

Sounds like a good idea indeed, to post new challenges.  Very nice I'll my solution later today if i have the time for it but nice idea!

Here is my entry, mostly its same as you, uses thread to count down numbers. One of cool feature is the 10 last seconds beeping.  027

Sorry for messy GUI code i used netbeans.
